How long will it take for me to receive my products after placing my order?

Most of the products that you see in our shop are not held in stock and will still need to be made. Production time differs from project to project, and product to product, but usually takes between 5 - 15 working days. The actual lead times for each product are clearly displayed on its specific product information page. Delivery times depend on the postal service you choose, as well as where you live.

What is your returns policy?

If a product is damaged or flawed on receiving it, please inform Babazeka within 24 hours of receipt. We will either make arrangements for the damaged product to be returned to us and have a replacement sent to you on our account or alternatively we may refund you in full for the damaged product. PLEASE DO NOTE that items are all made by hand and so slight discrepancies may exist between different products. We think that this adds to their charm.

I'd like to send someone a gift. Is this possible?

Babazeka does offer a gift wrapping and tag service. Once adding the selected gift to your cart, follow the check-out process. In Step 3 you will need to check the box which says, "Do you have any gift items in your order?". You should then type your message to the recipient of the gift into the blank box below.

Please note that you are able to add separate messages to separate items if sending gifts to more than one recipient.

*And please don't forget to submit the recipient's address as the shipping address.

How do I make a payment if I do not have a credit card?

NOTE: Only South Africans can currently pay via Direct Deposit. When checking out, you are given the option to pay with a credit card or to pay by Direct Deposit. Once you have chosen Direct Deposit, our banking details will be displayed. Please make a note of these. You can either deposit the money through your online banking service, or at a bank – whichever is easiest for you.

How much does it cost to have my goods delivered?

Shipping costs depend on which postal service you select, how much your parcel weighs, what the volumetric weight of the parcel is and where you live. The cost is calculated by the online shipping system's calculator. South Africans can choose between Counter to Counter and Door to Door services, while only the Door to Door service is offered to international customers.

How do I know if a product is out of stock?

No product is ever out of stock as all are made on placement of order.

Do you deliver to international addresses?

We do sell to a number of foreign countries (UK, Europe, USA, Canada, Australia and New Zealand). Currently, we send through a company known as Global Spring Mail who deliver to your door. Parcels usually take between 15 and 20 working days, from completion of manufacture, to be delivered .

Please do take note that currently international buyers can only pay using a Mastercard or Visa credit card. We're looking into the possibility of electronic transfers from international accounts and hope to find a solution soon.

We are committed to protecting your privacy. This privacy policy applies to all the web pages related to this website. All the information gathered in the online forms on the website is used to personally identify users that subscribe to this service. The information will not be used for anything other that which is stated in the Terms & Conditions. None of the information will be sold or made available to anyone.

Please explain how I can be assured of a secure payment?

When paying by credit card you will be taken to a secure payment page of Virtual Card Services. VCS is committed to providing secure online services. All encryption complies with international standards. Encryption is used to protect the transmission of personal information when completing online transactions.

Does Babazeka sell the products wholesale?

We can take wholesale orders for certain suppliers. If you are interested in ordering any of the products in bulk, please send us an email.
